Appendix H
Third Party Websites

Ms. Ashe's popularity on the Internet has spawned a number of third party websites, online clubs and Usenet newsgroups not counted in the calculations above. A significant number of images of Danni Ashe have been downloaded from these areas over the years. Also, coverage of Ms. Ashe's unusually successful business career has resulted in significant additional exposure on news media websites.

If the following sources were included, the total number of downloads counted would certainly be millions higher.

Newsgroups
The alt.fan.danni-ashe newsgroup has been in existence for several years and is used by fans as a forum for trading images taken from our websites. Between dedicated newsgroups like alt.fan.danni-ashe and others on more general topics, there are 2000-4000 images of Ms. Ashe available for download on any given day. Unfortunately, there's no reliable way of counting the number of people who frequent these groups or the number of images each person downloads.

Advertising
Danni Ashe images are used in a number of ads, placed on a number of very popular websites. For example, www.persiankitty.com has carried an ad for Danni's Hard Drive on their homepage since the fall of 1996. This ad most often features an image of Danni and is downloaded every time the site is accessed. In 1999, the Persian Kitty website recorded 92,225,063 unique IP's (statistics courtesy of Flying Crocodile).
